Edge Pledge TV Ep 35

Welcome to Edge Pledge TV episode 35 where we take you deep into the world of a wildlife-fundraising platform and we unpack all we are doing as we try to end extinction with you and have some laughs along the way.

  1. 50/50 progress We are working on signing up our 20 schools, Scouts groups and also environment-focused education groups. Our lawyers are busily clarifying all our fundraising requirements so we can then get the Schools to officially sign up and start their challenges.

There is still plenty of time for any school out there who wants to get involved to sign up.

Our aim is to have the schools complete their challenges by the end of April so that we can prove this is an amazing opportunity for schools and wildlife so we can then scale across all of Australia later this year.

  1. Interest we have received for 50/50 We have been talking to some more great organisations about 50/50 such as Scouts Australia, Leap into Nature which is educating kids out in nature, and Australian Association for Environmental Education who are all about helping to educate kids about our environment.

We believe so strongly that what we are doing with 50/50 and the associated curriculum we are proving with My Green World is a great outcome for schools and educators. We can’t wait to prove this over the next couple of months.

  1. CEO of Zoos Victoria challenge Dr Jenny Grey, CEO of Zoos Victoria has found her perfect challenge. You voted and she is going to be a Zoo presenter for a day. Having raised $1,765 for the Eastern Barred Bandicoot.

Can’t wait to see how Jenny’s challenge is going to go, we definitely need to be there to film and see how Jenny goes entertaining the crowd.
